Black Friday was a harsh reminder of just why I hate shopping this time of year. It's just to much unnecessary, materialistic drama. So those on my nice list this year will be receiving an entirely different type of gift. Something homemade.
I mean who actually wants a box set of generic smellies or a gift box set featuring a mug and a hand warmer? I know I don't. I'd much rather some homemade festive chutney or a pair of homemade socks.

There's all sorts of ideas for me to get trying over the next three weeks, and I will be posting as many of these ideas as possible into my blog.
Do you handmade gifts for Christmas, if so I'd love you to share your links with me!

It's nice to make somebody something too. It's like making someone a hot meal rather than plating up a takeaway. It seems more personal, more to the point of Christmas.
Now I'm no great crafter, but there are some fantastic ideas out there that even a craft novice could crack on their first attempt. I've been diligently pinning theses ideas away for the last few months.
